Juried Art Show Submission
Artists are invited to submit work for consideration in our upcoming juried art show. Please complete the form below and upload 1 to 3 images of the artwork you would like to enter. This is Abstract Painting, acrylic, oil or mixed media. Does not need to be framed, however, must be wired on the back so it can be hung.
Exhibit Location: Artistic Edge Gallery, 1880 Fulton Ave., Sacramento, CA 95825
Entries Open: October 1st, 2026
Deadline for Entry: December 18th, 2026
Accept/Decline Notices: Week of January 4th, 2027
Deliver your artwork to Artistic Edge Gallery: January 29th or 30th, 2027
Reception Date/Awards Posted: March 13th, 2027 from 4pm to 6pm. It is recommended that everyone try and make the reception date.
Dates of Exhibition: February thru March 2027
Pick Up: March 31st, 2027 between 10am and 4pm. If you need to make arrangements for early pick up between March 27 and 31st please let us know. Work left after March 31st, 2027 will become property of Artistic Edge Gallery, unless special arrangements have been made.
Entry Fee:
The entry fee is $25 per submitted image. You may submit up to 3 images. Payment will be collected securely during checkout after you complete the form. If you prefer to submit via email you may send images to [email protected], but you must call us and give us a credit card over the phone at (916)482-2787
Show Information:
You must have your name, email address, title of the piece and the retail cost listed on a piece of paper when you deliver. We do not accept any pieces that are not for sale. If sold you will receive 50% of the retail cost. Any sold pieces a check will be available March 31st for pick-up. Or we will mail the check to you. Any unsold pieces will be picked up by the artist.
Prize Information: There will be a 1st, 2nd, 3rd place winners and Best of Show awards given out. $ amount awarded will depend on the number of entries.
Judge Information: Nan Roe
Nan is an artist that works daily, inside or outside her studio. She has owned her own design business, taught art and gladly responds to requests of donations for fundraising causes. Her art involves varied subjects and the use of many mediums. She can create using: watercolor, acrylic, oil, metal, clay or repurposed materials. She works in large scale as well as small. She did post graduate work at U.C. Davis, California. She thinks teaching is the best learning tool. Her motto is “learning never ends”. She is a national award winner for sculpture. A work of hers was included in a technology show at the Crocker Art Ark. A silkscreen print of Nan’s is a part of U.C. Berkley permanent collection. Her work has been seen nation wide as well as here in California and Canada.
Submission Guidelines:
Please upload clear images of your artwork. Accepted file types are JPG, PNG, and WEBP. Each image should represent one artwork entry.
