Local Artist & Oil Painter Chris Ceccarelli (Chick’ a-rail_lee)
Native of Sacramento, Chris currently lives in Folsom, and basks in the retired
life, away from the corporate world, where he enjoyed a full career as a technical
illustrator. Oil Painting has been a passion since he was 17 years old, and
continues to this day.
Described as an oil painter of People, Places, Pets & Things, Chris enjoys
painting in a realistic style with traditional painting techniques. His images are
evocative and colorful and are often referred to as looking better than the
original reference photo. His body of work continues to grow through
commissions and assignments.
An old school car guy from way back, he still drives his 1955 F100 pick-up from
his high school days, as well as his newly acquired restored 1930 Ford Model A ,
fordor deluxe sedan. No stranger to cars and all their workings parts, painting
them is truly a joy!
