Elizabeth Gargas

Liz Gargas is a freelance artist living and working in Folsom, CA.  She received a BFA from the Rhode Island School of Design in Illustration and Painting.  She is an oil painter concerned with painting landscapes (imagined and observed) as well as working as a  commissioned portrait artist.  Originally from Boston, MA she made her move out to California for the endless inspiration of big skies and dramatic landscapes of the West.  A Specific point of interest for Gargus is Yosemite National Park.  She is a  fellow at the Brush Creek Foundation for the Arts of Saratoga, WY and  alarge landscape painting of hers has been exhibited at the Museum of Northern California.
