About Artist Paul Dessau
Paul’s artistry combines his Masters’s degree in mechanical engineering with studio art classes taken in college, including, drawing portrait painting, as well as private instruction from Estonian born artist Sergio Truebach, thus using analytic as well as aesthetics to combine art traditions from the past and present in each piece. He has also had workshop instruction from Karen Cahill, Annie Murphy Robinson, and Jacq Luttrelle. His work emphasizes invoking old master art is a modern way. He has enjoyed doing artwork since his childhood in Carmichael, California.

The Center For the Arts, in Grass valley CA, The Flour Garden, in Grass Valley CA, The California State Fair, in Sacramento, CA, and the Crocker Kingsley Art Show, in Roseville, CA
